Gold and light

If there is one fragrance that calls for splendour and celebration, it is Byzance by Rochas. Created in 1987 and reinterpreted in 2019, this legendary fragrance from the fashion house has been reinvented again this year, with a modern twist, in an opulent new composition: Byzance Gold.

Composed by perfumer Michel Almairac, this fruity floral chypre opens with a tangy accord of raspberry, lychee and blackcurrant. Headnotes contrast with a rose and jasmine heart, supported by a radiant note of patchouli.

Finally, the warm tonka bean blends with the strength of cedar and the softness of musk to sublimate the entire essence.

A new fragrance variation, worthy of its own bottle. And though the curves of the original bottle remain unchanged, the blue glass is now opaque and adorned with lustrous gold, like a last echo of the ancient Greek city and its legend.
