Sometimes all it takes is one word to crystallize a legacy. “Original” alone embodies the visionary spirit of René Lacoste: a man of character, a legendary sportsman, an avant-garde inventor. A word that resonates today like a hyphen between past and present, between founding audacity and sophisticated modernity.

In keeping with this strong signature, Lacoste unveils a new intensity: LACOSTE ORIGINAL Parfum. Conceived as a natural extension of the Eau de Parfum launched in 2024, this creation explores a more assertive, sensual facet.

The perfumer duo of Anne Flipo and Tanguy Guesnet are at the origin of this composition. The opening is impactful, revealing a woody fougère with hints of bergamot, cardamom and ginger. The heart is more enveloping with nuances of lavender and violet leaves, crossed by incense smoke. Then comes density, carried by patchouli, rounded out by tonka bean and finely dosed amber, giving way to a full, captivating trail.

And to embody this new intensity, the House remains faithful to Pierre Niney. An actor with casual charm, instinctive elegance and a fine sense of humor, he perfectly embodies this vision of a masculinity free of codes, perfectly in tune with the times.
